Open every day from 11:00, Ode aan de Amstel can cater to your lunch, afternoon snack or dinner needs. On Sundays, we are fully dedicated to our “Sunday Brunch” and therefore close a little earlier.

Ode aan de Amstel is a Restaurant-Café with a lovely floating terrace on the Amstel. It is the place to escape the "busy" city for a while and enjoy the peace of the rippling water.

Dining with a view on the Amstel river is possible on both our ground and first floor. Our ground floor has the perfect intimidate sphere for date night, whilst our first floor is the optimal setting for group dinners. On our ground floor you will find our open kitchen and bar, so our “curious” guests are able to watch the magic unfold! Watch our chefs prepare your delicious dishes or our bar staff shake your cocktails. Our first floor is also an ideal spot to host your meetings. Private with a stunning view, easy access to food and drinks, what more could you need to evaluate your new business ventures? Our first floor even has its own bar and toilet facilities, which makes it perfect for a private event/dinner/meeting or wedding party.

And last but not least, our beautiful sunny terrace. With the last bit of sunshine in the city, it is perfect for those sultry summer evenings. You can pop in after having a dip in the Amstel and enjoy one of the many cocktails we offer.

Our all-day dining menu is filled with classics with a surprising Asian twist. Next to our All-Day dining menu, we offer a daily changing 3-5 course Chefs menu.

It is also possible to visit us with your boat. You can dock it at our terrace, where we have a private dock. Have a seat in our restaurant/terrace or dine in your boat! You can also order take away on our website.

Our restaurant is only a couple minutes walk from Amstel station, with many different options in terms of public transport to get you there. You can take the metro, bus or train to arrive at Amstel station then easily walk down to the restaurant.
